CSI Newsletter: IntegrateNYC score a win for diversity, respect, and integration in the schools
CSI members IntegrateNYC marked an incredible victory when Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza announced that they were implementing a package of recommendations to make New York City schools more equitable, representative, and diverse. The reforms were built up from the foundation of IntegrateNYC’s 5Rs of Real Integration — and IntegrateNYC got to hear the mayor himself endorse their vision.
