We know separate is

# Still Not Equal

Most history textbooks will refer to 1954 as the year that school segregation was ended when Brown v Board of Education passed the verdict that segregated schools were inherently unequal. And yet, it keeps on keeping on. Across the United States, schools are more segregated than they were 40 years ago. And separate is #StillNotEqual.

IntegrateNYC has joined with students across the country to form IntegrateUS. Over the Month of Mobilization from April 9 to May 11, we are working together to unite students in the name of integration.  Follow us on social media @StillNotEqual to become part of the movement, sign the constitution and donate. On our Week of Action from May 12 to May 18, post your raised right hand, and tag it with #StillNotEqual.
